Sponsoring

Sponsoring sport: SpVgg Vreden 1921 e.V.

CKM Montagen supports as premium and project partner the SpVgg Vreden 192 e.V. sports club. The arrangement is closely linked with the managing director of the CKM Montagen GmbH & Co KG, who as chairman of the SpVgg Vreden 1921 e.V. directs the clubs activities.

Priority in sponsoring is given to the youth activities of the football section of the club. The professionalism that can be found in the CKM Montagen GmbH & Co KG also reigns on the football field. The children and young persons of the club are encouraged in an exemplary manner by the joint model project with the German Sports University in Cologne. The Football and Light Athletics Association of Westphalia (FLVW) has confirmed this and honoured the joint project as well as the outstanding commitment of the Vreden football club with second place in the FLVW future prize competition.

However, the club's activities are not restricted only to the challenges and tasks in the region. In cooperation with the partner club in Port Elizabeth (South Africa), Glenville Celtic A.F.C. (www.glenvilleceltic.co.za), there was a unique occasion for the under-17 team of the club to participate in a youth tournament in South Africa (29th June to 3rd July 2009). Participating in the tournament as well as the general programme (including a visit to a home for AIDS orphans and a trip organised by the local church to the poor part of the city) offered the unique opportunity of combining the extremely successful sporting results (2nd place) with far-reaching cultural and social impressions and thus of promoting the social competence of the young persons.

Cultural sponsoring: The corps of drums

The Vreden Corps of Drums and Fanfare is especially close to the heart of CKM Montagen's managing director, Christoph Kondring, who is a member of the Burgersch├╝tzenverein St. Georg.

CKM Montagen GmbH & Co. KG demonstrates with this arrangement the importance of supporting associations enriching cultural life.
Can you imagine a shooting fair with the Corps of Drums and Fanfare?!
